Bowed Instrument Repair

It is important to do repairs according the to value of the instrument. Student level instruments would not be repaired in the same way that one would restore a valuable antique.
Turn-around is usually a few days for basic repairs, like bridge and sound post work, or simple gluing. More complex repairs take longer.
Bow rehairng is something that one should do once a year or so (every hundred hours of play is a good guideline.) Some people will do it more often if they play a lot and wear through the hair quickly. Others let it go for years.
